Jolly Roger Seafood House: Fresh Flavors of the Sea in Port Clinton, OH

Tried on a Friday and again on Monday. I had perch and shrimp the first time and walleye the second. Walleye was definitely the better fare! Great atmosphere when crowded or just me. The scenic view of the lake is perfect. Come one come all!

While passing through, we stumbled upon this restaurant at lunchtime. It was busy, and we had to wait a bit to order. But there were enough seats, and the food came quickly. It was simply delicious. Highly recommended.

Recommend by a mid Ohio local as we were looking at things to do around Sandusky for a day trip. Local Perch & Walleye was delicious, and the hush puppies and homemade onion rings were phenomenal!! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to Port Clinton!

Amazing food and atmosphere. First time there. Food came out quickly and fresh. The amount of food you get for the price is astonishing. Definitely will be back someday as it's my new favorite freash fish restaurant.

I was expecting table service, but this turned out better. Gave you a number, we sat, and within 5 minutes food delivered. Perch and chips for me, and perch sandwich for spouse, both with onion rings, which were house made and worth the $1 extra. Breading on perch was super thin and crispy and close to that on the rings. I would come back if I drove near again.

Great little place to stop. We had the walleye. Very good and fresh. We liked the waffle fries too! Great location too!

We visited Jolly Rogers Seafood House in Port Clinton, Ohio while touring around the Lakeside/Marblehead and Port Clinton area. I ordered the fried Walleye and chips and my wife had the fried Perch and chips. When our order arrived I was just amazed at the huge serving for the price we paid at the order counter. Each order had 4 - 5 pieces of fish, perfectly fried and seasoning with an excellent tartar sauce on the side. We were so hungry and the food looked so good I forgot to get a photo of my plate! Jolly Rogers is right on Lake Erie and has ample indoor and outdoor seating where you can enjoy the view and the breeze off the lake. I especially enjoyed the order at the window and pay first process. You get a number with your order, choose your drinks, then find a place to sit and the waitstaff brings the order to you. This is probably the biggest fish serving for the price we have found in the area. An excellent meal and we will definetely revisit.

My parents and I ate at this nice little fish joint and loved it! We each got a different kind of seafood, the perch, walleye, and shrimp, and shared. It was hot and fresh, and probably the best restaurant seafood we’ve ever had! The waffle fries were superb, the onion rings tasted fresh, and the lake view was the cherry on top!
